Welcome to the FACS Club!
We are an organization sponsored by the Family & Consumer Sciences Department. The club is open to anyone interested in continuing their FACS instruction outside of the classroom.
This year we will be focusing on both the Foods and Nutrition Lab as well as sewing.

Group Announcements  January FACS Club meetingsAs many of you know we have begun our sewing section of FACS Club. If you have been unable to join us for our meetings you are welcome to come to our next scheduled meeting on Tuesday, January 31st. We are making aprons similar to the ones used in the FACS lab. You will need to bring 1 yard of fabric. We will supply the patterns, thread and equipment. Hope to see you on the 31st!
FACS ClubRemember to have a ride at 4:15, a note for permission to walk home or be prepared to ride the activity bus at 4;30.
FACS CLUB
Students should check the bulletin board near the front office that has the bus activity bus schedule to determine which bus to ride home. Join us for FACS Club onTuesday, Jan 10 for our first sewing craft meeting. Please sign up in room 1327 (FACS FOODS LAB). Be prepared to take the activity bus OR have a ride by 4:15. See you then! Also, members need to turn in their "emergency card"to club sponsors to be able to stay at the meeting. Check out the recipe for Candy Corn Popcorn Balls below, yummy! November 15/17 meetingDue to the large number of FACS Club members we will need to divide into 2 groups for the next meeting. Please come by the Foods and Nutrition Lab (1327) sometime this week to sign up for 1 of 2 meeting days. You may choose from Tuesday, November 15 or Thursday, November 17. You may only sign up for 1 day. Both days offer activity busses for your ride home after the meeting.
 Chef ClubThe permission form for the Chef Club is now on the FACS Club School Fusion site. Mrs. Foster will be accepting permission forms on a first come first serve basis, the limit is 25 students. You may bring the form to the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch. Ask the lunch staff for permission to go Mrs. Foster's office in the kitchen to hand in your form. All permission forms must be completed, signed and returned to Mrs. Foster by Tuesday, October 18. If you have any questions feel free to stop by FACS and speak with Mrs. Willett or Mrs. Hebert, or go by the cafeteria and ask for Mrs. Foster.
FACS Club Information and FormsYou will find the FACS Club schedule and permission slip in the Group Files section below. Please bring the completed permission slip with you to our first club meeting scheduled for October 11th, after school. We will meet in the FACS Department. Before the first meeting, please check the activity bus schedule so you know exactly the bus you will be riding home. If you are not riding the bus home and you are to be picked up after the meeting, please make sure your ride arrives between 4:15 and 4:30. If you ride is unable to pick you up on time, you will be asked to ride the activity bus. Discussion Topics Group Files
